RECRUITMENT DELAY BY TOP MNC CORPORATE GIANTS.

I would like to share some thing about recruitment procedures conducted by corporate companies.

Various companies come up with an urgent openings with dead line dates but the positions are not closed even after 3 to 5 months time.

Many time these positions are hanged due to top hiring managers and some time due to the less extra efforts or delay by HR department. Applicants keep on following after their application

Due to these kind of delay ,the applicant does not remain interested or may have number of apprehension about the company . Which results into a waste of the entire efforts of the people who get involved in sourcing these profiles and procedural activity .
After a long delay/break when again the opening gets on and HR - Talent Acquisition team starts the procedure to fill the vacancies , they have to go for a fresh start.

Very rare it happens that the applied candidates remain interested for the said position after a long gap. And these people can create a negative image about the company in the market.

We as a recruitment team request and suggest these MNC Corporate Giant to take care of this issue for a better , smooth and fast process .

Please suggest if you feel some thing more to be added to these points or you feel any think is irrelevant can be discussed.

THANKS & REGARDS ,

ARVIND DUBEY.

  1. This does not only creates negative image of the company but also demotivates the people who all are involved in the recruitment procedure.

We recruiters source many quality profiles for a particular positions with so much enthusiasm, but we dont get the response with the same interest.

Sometimes candidates feel that recruiters are just creating a database by doing fake calls for openings with such MNC's, this is the reason candidates say that "Is the position really exist" or "Are they serious about the openings".

All these things really demotivates us & its very difficult to work on the same positions after 3 to 6 months with the same enthusiasm, coz one question always remains in our mind, whether we'll get the feedback at the right time or not??

We like to work on these interesting positions eg. Plastic surgery, cardiologist, Radiologist etc, coz we get the opportunities to learn many things while sourcing, but the slow response from client creates negative impact in our mind.

As Arvind sir said we can only request or suggest these MNC Corporate Giants to look into the matter.
