Holi Celebration at MIDC office ( 27th Feb 2010 - 4:00 pm )

Wish You All A Very Very Happy Holi .

We are celebrating Holi Tomorrow – Saturday ( 27th February 2010 ) at MIDC Office . Celebration will start at 4:00 pm . All of you are invited to join this and have a blast of enjoyment for 2 hours .

Some arrangements of snacks and thandai is made during the program . Colors are arranged by the company so no one has to worry of carrying their own colors . The colors which is going to be used by us will be eco friendly and Non Toxic colors.

We all should come together to give some social message to our surrounded society and make the festival of colors more beautiful and enjoyable.

I would like to share an article written on eco friendly HOLI .

Celebrate an Eco Friendly Holi

Ideally, the joyous festival of Holi is meant to celebrate the arrival of Spring while the colors used in Holi are to reflect of the various hues of spring season. But unfortunately, in modern times Holi does not stand for all things beautiful. Like various other festivals, Holi too has become ruthlessly commercialized, boisterous and yet another source of environmental degradation. To de-pollute Holi and make it in sync with nature, as it is supposed to be, several social and environmental groups are proposing a return to more natural ways of celebrating Holi.

The aim of this articles is to generate awareness amongst people about the various harmful effects around Holi celebrations and encourage people to celebrate an eco friendly Holi!

Holi is the time to develop understanding and love for each other. Here, is a platform for you all to renew your friendship and to express heartiest love by scribbling a beautiful Holi message for loved ones.

Boys will play with boys and girls with girls , no enforcement to play colors to anyone, the purpose of this gathering is to enjoy a get together at office during festival .

Suggestion are welcomed , we can implement it after the discussion with our directors .

THE 7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE HABIT 4: THINK WIN-WIN

Stretched sessions for most of us .

Comments on the last sessions shows the interest we all have towards the learning and understanding of this seven habits to make our life effective .

Now we have come to a different kind of discussion where the victories are different .

So far we have studied and discussed the 3 habits which were of private victory now we are talking about public victory , we are not the alone in the circumstance to become effective . We have to consider the environment too.

Let us share with all about what we have understood in this session about THINK WIN WIN .

This session had a long conversation and debate on Urgent and Important work . After that discussion I am able to make out that many of us has not clearly understood for what the discussion was going on. I have noticed a lot of confusion by many of us and not sharing with others and not coming out with questions .

I want to tell you friends that do not keep any apprehension in your mind and please clear it out by sharing it with everyone , other wise you may live in some wrong assumption about a particular topic and will explain the same to someone else . So friends we are here to gain and share right information and knowledge towards life which will help us in professional , personal and social environment .

There were many thing which I understood after that debate and discussion I had with everyone . This blog is an added advantage to all of us to share our thoughts after each such sessions .

3rd Habit IN 4th Session - Put First Thing First

Dear Friends ,

For this awesome interaction we had on last Saturday on the 3rd habit of the Seven Habits I feel we will be short of words to demonstrate and express our views on this .

But it would be a good knowledge sharing session on this blog too if we all put our views and thoughts as soon as possible after the session .

Many of us write their views or share some points a day before the next session . If you all notice we tend to forget or it becomes difficult for us to recollect what we discussed a week back in the session and we may tend to miss our few special thoughts & views which comes to our mind immediately after the session, it may skip from our mind after a day or two.

I suggest to all my dear colleagues to take some very short time from your busy schedule and put your valuable comment on it ASAP .

These points will help you as well as others who may not remember that mentioned by you and vice versa .

Thank you to all of you for your kind cooperation and being an interactive participant in this session .

We will keep on continuing such sessions in future too. Suggestions will be welcomed .
