  1. I have a great example of success and belief,i think belief and faith plays a very important role in success. It changes mindset and thought process.
I have heard that the army and the countryman of Alexander were having a strong belief that he is son of there god and therefore he can never lose and nobody can ever challenge him. When this thank was understood by Chanakya he told Chandragupta to go and challenge him in front of his army. He did the same thing and broke the belief of his people who were having blind faith and belief in Alexander the great. The result is known to us his power lost.

Giving belief to anything gives power to that belief and i think it starts working.

Now a days i have heard of THE SECRET , don't know much details about the book but seems that it has some smiler connection and facts.

  2. A lot of examples can be found from Past.. But i would like to bring to your attention story of two individuals we had an opportunity to hear at the TiE Summit in Mumbai.... The reason I’m narrating this story is the Process is still on going by these individuals and they’ve started in the “Ship of their belief” and are working hard for success in their Chosen Path which is Unusual…

    Story 1 :-
One of the Individual "is" an IIT IIM graduate. Instead of taking the routine opportunity in working for an big corporate house, he chose his own path.
While one of his travel in the rural areas in the Man pulled Rickshaw, he saw an opportunity in the Rickshaw. He did a Pilot Project with the Rickshaw -wala’s by doing advertisement in the Rickshaw and Selling bottled water.
He has tasted few successes and a lot of hurdles ( not failures ) in the process but he is still counting on his faith to take his venture forward in life..

    Story 2 :-

The Other individual who was comfortably settled in US saw an opportunity in Providing services Which he calls a “Shit Business”. Surprised! Yes, he has started a venture in India of providing Mobile toilet facility. Working hard on the method, technical’s and establishing the market which has not been tested by anyone ( none of which we’re aware of ) he is looking confident in his “belief” of the success of his venture.

Today both of them are working in some part of our country with the courage that they have started the business and the “ BELIEF” that they will establish the Road in the unknown path..

Where they will end is not known but they have chosen a path with a belief to make a difference. And that is the Story of all the people on earth who have made a change …

  3. Truly believe that Success goes hand in hand with Belief but along with Belief, Self Confidence, Positive thinking and Hard work too play important role in achieving.
    Here would like to share a small example;

Once a business executive was deep in debt and could see no way out.

Creditors were closing in on him. Suppliers were demanding payment. He sat on the park bench, head in hands, wondering if anything could save his company from bankruptcy.

Suddenly an old man appeared before him. "I can see that something is troubling you," he said.
After listening to the executive's woes, the old man said, "I believe I can help you."

He asked the man his name, wrote out a check, and pushed it into his hand saying, "Take this money. Meet me here exactly one year from today, and you can pay me back at that time."

Then he turned and disappeared as quickly as he had come.

The business executive saw in his hand a check for $500,000, signed by John D. Rockefeller, then one of the richest men in the world!

"I can erase my money worries in an instant!" he realized. But instead, the executive decided to put the uncashed check in his safe. Just knowing it was there might give him the strength to work out a way to save his business, he thought.

With renewed optimism, he negotiated better deals and extended terms of payment. He closed several big sales. Within a few months, he was out of debt and making money once again.

Exactly one year later, he returned to the park with the uncashed check. At the agreed-upon time, the old man appeared. But just as the executive was about to hand back the check and share his success story, a nurse came running up and grabbed the old man.

"I'm so glad I caught him!" she cried. "I hope he hasn't been bothering you. He's always escaping from the rest home and telling people he's John D. Rockefeller. "

And she led the old man away by the arm.
The astonished executive just stood there, stunned. All year long he'd been wheeling and dealing, buying and selling, convinced he had half a million dollars behind him.

Suddenly, he realized that it wasn't the money, real or imagined, that had turned his life around. It was his new found self-confidence and belief which he had that gave him the power to achieve Success

  4. Yes Success comes from belief one who have vision & belief to get success in his life he achieve it because of confidence & motivation.

Like to share one good example

    First one :

Sir Ratan Tata in 1971 was appointed the Director-in-Charge of The National Radio & Electronics Company Limited (Nelco) a company that was in dire financial difficulty. Sir Ratan Tata suggested that the company invest in developing high-technology products, rather than in consumer electronics. Nelco historical financial performance had never even paid regular dividends. Some how Nelco had 2% market share in the consumer electronics market and a loss margin of 40% of sales when Sir Ratan Tata took over then Sir JRD Tata followed Sir Ratan's suggestions From 1972 to 1975, Nelco eventually grew to have a market share of 20%, and recovered its losses. Some how in 1975 India's Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared a state of emergency economic recession. This was followed by union problems in 1977, Finally Tatas face the unions and following a strike, a lockout was compulsory for seven month. Sir Ratan continued to believe in the fundamental soundness of Nelco, but the venture did not survive.

But still Sir JRD had kept faith & belief on Sir Ratan Tata & now we can see that what a tremendous job Sir Ratan Tata has done today Tata companies are the biggest co in India & world wide famous plus with many merger with world reputed company he brought with Tata’s company.
